The Port of Payra is a small seaport in southern Bangladesh. It was established by an Act of Parliament in 2013. The port was officially inaugurated in 2016. It is located on the Ramnabad Channel near the Bay of Bengal.The port was established after demands for a seaport in the coastal Barisal Division.

Bangladeshi officials have stated that a deep water port has been planned in the area which will serve southern Bangladesh, as well as neighboring countries like Nepal and Bhutan.The Payra Port coal terminal will allow Bangladesh to import an additional 20 million metric tons of coal per year, and will play a pivotal role in Bangladesh’s plans for a massive expansion of coal power plant construction in the coming two decades.

Payra Port is located in the Patuakhali district in South-central Bangladesh in the Barisal Division. The port is partially constructed, and began limited operations in 2016. It was opened to help loading and unloading of goods more quickly than Chittagong port, the largest port in Bangladesh. PPA’S objective focuses mainly on providing necessary services and facilities to the port users efficiently and effectively at competitive price.

Application Procedure of  PPA Job circular 2020

• Interested candidates can apply online by visiting the website www.ppa.gov.bd.
• Time of online application submission and payment started from 12 June 2020 ,10 a.m.
• Last Date of payment and online application is July 7, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. Within 72 hours of application , applicants can complete their payment.
•  Applicants should attached 300*300 pixels colored picture that is not more 100 KB and scanned signature of 300*80 pixels that is not more than 60 KB with their application form.
• Candidates will submit all the information with full accuracy.
•  After Submission of application, applicants can download and print their applicants copy for further purpose
• After submitting the application form, signature, colored picture in online , the candidates will get a USER ID and a applicant copy.
• Using this USER ID the candidates can complete their payment procedure in two steps by Using a Teletalk pre-paid mobile.For 1-17 no post they have to pay 300/-, and for 18-31 no post they have to pay 100 Taka and for 32-35 no post they have to pay 50 taka within 72 hours.

First send an SMS from Teletalk Mobile as below.

PPA<space>User ID and send to 16222.

Example: PPA ABCDEF and send to 16222.

After sending this SMS, you will receive a reply SMS with the PIN number and the details to send the second SMS.

Reply: Applicant’s Name, Taka -300/100/50 will be charged as application fee.Your PIN is xxxxxxxx. To pay fee Type

PPA<space>YES<Space>PIN and send to 16222.

Example: PPA YES 12345678 and send to 16222.

Reply sms: Congratulation’s Applicants Name, Payment Completed Successfully for PPA application For xxxxxxxx User ID is (ABCDEF) and password (12345678).

How To get the Admit Card of www.ppa.gov.bd  2020?

Applicants get their admit card by the PPA authority. They publish this news in their official website www.ppa.teletalk.com.bd or www.ppa.gov.bd or either sending sms to the eligible candidates . After downloading the Admit card the applicants can easily know their roll number, exam center name, exam date and time.
